discipline and undistraction...

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has rebuffed suggestions that Tony Abbott will impede the Coalition's election campaign, saying he is "utterly undistracted" by the ousted former leader's ability to generate headlines.

Mr Turnbull also ruled out establishing a national anti-corruption body to help pass the government's Australian Building and Construction Commission bill, which could form the trigger for a double-dissolution election.

Asked how confident he was that Mr Abbott would not disrupt the campaign, Mr Turnbull said on Sunday: "I expect all of the members and candidates to be supportive and disciplined in the course of the campaign and generally in the lead up to it."

Mr Abbott has spoken out a number of times from the backbench since he was defeated in a leadership spill last September, when he vowed there would be "no wrecking, no undermining, no sniping" going forward.

He was quoted last month in The Australian, as saying he was disappointed and flabbergasted by the government's decision to commit to having its first new submarine in the water in the early 2030s rather than years earlier.

Pressed on his concerns about Mr Abbott's ability to generate media attention during the campaign, Mr Turnbull told Sky News: "I am utterly undistracted."

There is a stench in the air that suggests that Malcolm is actually a worse PM than Abbott... Is this possible? Is the barrel so void of talent?

will turdbutt's butt be saved by a candy?

Candy may be the Kim Kardashian of Kingston but a look beyond the cleavage, sexy selfies and recent media circus shows a savvy Gen Y politics nerd who may be the Coalition's secret weapon for the upcoming election campaign.

As well as working for conservative Liberal MP George Christensen, the libertarian and part-time model, has volunteered and worked in the offices of Assistant Health Minister Ken Wyatt and Bennelong MP John Alexander.

Before the paparazzi shots of her cavorting in a star-spangled banner bikini surfaced she travelled to the "land of the free" to join Republican Rand Paul's campaign for two months.

Candy, who started her political career in the small Whitsundays town of Proserpine where she was elected chairwoman of the central Queensland Liberal Party, hit the hustings in the United States cold-calling constituents and learning how the Republican machine is attracting young people to the cause.

"The volunteers over there are tech-savvy, young and professional – like hipsters you'd see in Newtown. They are using every means possible to rally support and get first-timers and young voters on board for the November election. They each make 450 phone calls a day and the campaigning doesn't stop there. They are all on Tinder, Facebook and Instagram connecting and essentially spreading the word of the GOP."

Considering the Prime Minister's keen interest in innovation, Capital Hill sources say Candy is tipped to be welcomed back into the fold in the coming weeks.

Dear Candy, the hipsters in Newtown would be fighting hard to protect the environment which your libs (CONservatives) want to destroy with coal mines and CSG, they want to save the hipster-attraction of Newtown which your libs (CONservatives) want to destroy with the WestCONnex and the hipsters use spray cans artistically instead of iPhones to promote the message of dissidentry against your ideology of fake liberalism. And some of these young hipsters are oldies like me. Thanks for the compliment.
