In a 2014 email made public by Assange’s WikiLeaks last month, Hillary Clinton, who had served as secretary of state until the year before, urges John Podesta, then an advisor to Barack Obama, to “bring pressure” on Qatar and Saudi Arabia, “which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL [Islamic State, IS, ISIS] and other radical Sunni groups.”

The Australian share market has lost around $34 billion in value as Donald Trump looks increasingly likely to be the next US president.

Mr Trump has scored a series of surprising wins in battleground states including Florida and Ohio, opening a path to the White House for the political outsider and rattling world markets counting on a win by Democrat Hillary Clinton. 

In a highly volatile day, the ASX 200 had an upbeat start, rising as much as 0.9 per cent to 5,314.

However, as vote counts started coming in, trade became more volatile, with swings deep into the red as Mr Trump clawed slightly ahead.

CMC market strategist Ric Spooner said traders generally take the view that a Trump win is bad for shares.

They still get it wrong. The media bandits (pundits) are still blaming Russia, the FBI and Julian Assange for the defeat of their golden girl. They know nothing but sour grapes.

As readers of my stupid columns would know, there were other important factors at play. First, many people wanted to get rid of the "political class". BOOM. Second, subconsciously, many white women would have resented a woman in charge and telling them what to be or do, including being equal to others. Third, American IS a RELIGIOUS country: Many people do not subscribe to "liberal" views, while being economically "liberal" (free enterprise). Following most religious journals such as CP (Christian Post), one woud have to be mad not to consider this mighty influence. Fourth, we have entered the times of self-assurance, bugger sharing. Fifth, Hillary was "the wrong woman". Sanders would have been better to present the Democrats' package. Hillary had too much baggage, including the wrong wars in Lybia and Syria for duplcitous made-up excuses. Politically she had been a disaster and had to be replaced by inept John Kerry. Her frivolous attitude to the death of Gaddafi was atrocious. And she had been careless with her emails, regardless of who exposed this fact. 

The Democrats muffed it. They don't like it, so they blame others for their defeat. CRAP. They goofed when they fought Bernie...
