I would love to see human civilization strike a balance with nature and at the risk of sounding like a naïve idealist, I sincerely do believe that this is ultimately our destiny as a species.

My personal experience has led me to the conclusion that we have only failed to achieve this paradigm as a species due to the system (and cultural influence) of oligarchism which has managed to stubbornly sink its claws parasitically onto its host for a few too many generations- corrupting and perverting everything that it dominates.

Due to the pervasiveness of oligarchism, mass exploitation, wars and pollution have lain waste to ecosystems and countless human lives alike, and as the neo-liberal order continues to careen towards the inevitable breakdown of a 2 quadrillion dollar derivatives bubble which our un-repentant decades of decadence has caused, very serious choices will need to be made.

False Remedies to the Oncoming Meltdown

Many false solutions will be presented as society wakes up to the burning building it is trapped in, and unless our minds have become aware of those false solutions, (not to mention those arsonists managing this fire from the top), then many well-intentioned souls from all walks of life may sign onto their own death warrants and accidentally usher in a solution far worse than the disease they sought to remedy.

Before you, dear reader, accuse me of being overly dramatic in my claims, let me bring your attention to a June 3rd event sponsored by the World Economic Forum (WEF) entitled The Great Reset featuring impassioned calls by leaders of the IMF, World Bank, UK, USA, corporate and banking sector to take advantage of COVID-19 to shut down and “reset” the world economy under a new operating system entitled the Green New Deal.

WEF founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab said “the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions… Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”

Schwab’s message was amplified by Prince Charles who gushed over the this golden opportunity to radically modify human behaviour in ways that decades of environmentalism have failed to accomplish when he said: “We have a golden opportunity to seize something good from this [COVID-19] crisis. Its unprecedented shockwaves may well make people more receptive to big visions of change,”

While the World Economic Forum is usually known as a forum of global corporate elites, this organization branched out in recent years to become a leader in global pandemic coordination as a co-sponsor of the creepy October 2019 Event 201 and has embraced leaders of typically “anti-capitalist” resistance groups like Greenpeace who now speak regularly at their events.

Jennifer Morgan (current head of Greenpeace) stated at the event “We set up a new world order after World War II… We’re now in a different world than we were then. We need to ask, what can we be doing differently? The World Economic Forum has a big responsibility in that as well—to be pushing the reset button and looking at how to create well-being for people and for the Earth.”

So is this definition of international wellbeing truly what it appears? Or does something more nefarious lurk under the surface? How can we know?

Those who are ignorant to their history will easily believe the cover story they are being fed by the players managing the World Economic Forum. The cover story is as follows: A new system was shaped during a two week conference in Bretton Woods New Hampshire 1944 under the leadership of Franklin Roosevelt and this was designed to export the New Deal program which reconstructed America after the Great Depression to the rest of the world. Since our current crisis demands a new system in a similar manner as the world needed a reset in 1932 and again in 1945, so too must we do so again.

On the surface this is all true. But here’s the rub…

FDR’s New Deal was premised around: 1) Stopping a bankers’ dictatorship in 1933 when he singlehandedly torpedoed the Bank of England/League of Nations’ London Conference, 2) imposing mass regulation on Wall Street speculators under Glass-Steagall laws and the broad bank acts that broke up megabanks, created the SEC, protected legitimate savings and put hundreds of elite bankers on trial under the Pecora Commission, 3) launched vast infrastructure projects under the Tennessee Valley Authority, Rural Electrification projects, Grand Coulee Dam, Hoover Dams etc which increased the national productive powers of labor turning America into a FULL SPECTRUM agro-industrial economy capable of constant growth, and 4) fought valiantly to guarantee those same capabilities to all nations of the world in total opposition to the British Empire.

Today’s Green New Dealers use the form and name of FDR’s historic precedents but are totally committed to the opposing goals.

Under the global response mechanisms being proposed by the oligarchs running the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset strategy, green energy grids designed to lower the world temperature by two degrees within 30 years by de-carbonizing society will have the effect of reducing the productive powers of labor of all nations rather than increasing those powers as the original New Deal had done.

Meanwhile Cap and Trade/Carbon pricing mechanisms designed by the Bank of England and the Carney/Bloomberg Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures promise to create financial incentives to reduce the world population potential by deconstructing the industrial economic order needed to sustain the nearly 8 billion souls on the surface of earth currently. In a recent speech to the City of London the former head of the Bank of England who now leads Boris Johnson’s Climate Finance team said:

“Achieving net zero emissions will require a whole economy transition – every company, every bank, every insurer and investor will have to adjust their business models. This could turn an existential risk into the greatest commercial opportunity of our time.”

Carney, who also happens to be the architect of the Central Bankers Climate Compact has previously threatened destruction on all businesses that refuse to conform to the new green standards which he and his controllers wish be imposed upon the world saying: “the firms that anticipate these developments will be rewarded handsomely. Those that don’t will cease to exist”.

While the new reset green system promises to feature more regulations onto finance, will those regulations be controlled by sovereign nation states in the interests of the general welfare of their people or by private central banks in the interests of an oligarchical elite obsessed with control, balance, and keeping nations gullible, confused, divided, depopulated and impoverished?

I think you can figure this out for yourself.

The only form of a legitimate Great Reset that will protect people, nations and reduce the influence of the financial oligarchy WHILE actually protecting the environment in the long-run is tied to the modern International New Deal known as the Belt and Road Initiative. By creating a new system of finance tied to long-term development, agro-industrial growth of full spectrum economies across the world, China and its allies have taken up the torch which was dropped by Franklin Roosevelt’s early death on April 12, 1945. Any arrangement for a new economic reset would have to adhere to the proven principles of anti-fascist political economy that have been proven to work in the past and continue to work in the present.

A powerful start to this reset would involve President Trump agreeing to an emergency summit of Russia-China and the USA followed by a five-nation summit featuring the UK and France under the guidelines set forth by President Putin in January 2020 and reiterated again weeks ago.

Decivilisation is underway...

If light still has to be shed on the fire of the cathedral of Nantes, figures from the right and the RN already see in this drama the illustration of the vulnerability of French civilisation or Christianity. The fire at the Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul cathedral in Nantes moved the entire French political class, who deplored the damage caused by the fire to the Gothic monument.

 

The executive mobilised immediately after the tragedy: Prime Minister Jean Castex as well as the Interior Ministers Gérald Darmanin and Culture Roselyne Bachelot went there, while the President of the Republic expressed his support firefighters. To the tributes to the soldiers of the fire and to the sadness expressed in the face of the deterioration of this heritage jewel were added comments of a different kind: those formulated by figures of the right or of the National Rally, giving to the fire of Nantes Cathedral a broader connotation.

suppressing the hispanic vote?...

Some 90 field organisers for the Florida Democratic Party have complained that Joe Biden's campaign is "suppressing the Hispanic vote", according to a letter obtained by the Miami Herald.

They say that four Puerto Rican organisers were moved from Central to North Florida. 

"The [campaign] is suppressing the Hispanic vote by removing Spanish-speaking organisers from Central Florida without explanation, which fails to confront a system of white-dominated politics we are supposed to be working against as organisers of a progressive party", the letter says.

The letter adds that with the November election looming, the organisation of Hispanic, Brazilian, and Haitian communities in the state has been neglected. "There are no targets, scripts, data infrastructure, community outreach, or phonebanks established for this", it says.

The organisers, on condition of anonymity, also shared with the newspaper that employees on the ground have been particularly mistreated by the state's Coordinated Campaign.

“The way you treat your lowest ranked employees says a lot about you as an organisation ... especially in electoral work, when organisers are the ones on the front lines, they ones you're asking to make 400 calls a day, the ones you're asking to make real connections with voters on the ground", one of the field organisers said.

Florida is one of the key "swing" states for the 2020 campaign. In 2016, President Donald Trump won it by a narrow margin of 1.2 points. A recent poll by Quinnipiac University says that Biden leads Trump 51 percent to 38 percent in the state.

Revolutionary Communist Party leader backs Biden


For Bob Avakian, founder and leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party USA, this year’s election is actually an easy call: The need to stop President Trump is so overwhelming that he has no qualms about backing Democrat Joseph R. Biden.

The far left usually finds itself at election time grappling with tricky questions about lesser-of-two-evils, and fears of boosting what they see as a corrupt Democratic Party. But that’s not happening this year.

From Maoists to Marxists, leftists say it’s actually an easy choice.

 

The two men teamed up on a blueprint for the party’s platform, producing a document last month calling for stopping deportations and offering the chance for citizenship rights for 11 million illegal immigrants, opening the door to reparations for slavery, embracing a $15-an-hour national minimum wage and imposing national policing standards.

The collaboration is what helped win over William Ayers, a former leader of the violent Weather Underground. He wrote that to see Mr. Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez working with Mr. Biden is comforting.

“That’s because, in my view, Trump and Trumpism represent the most reactionary political force in the world today and the most immediate and serious threat to peace and human freedom in the post-WWII era,” he wrote in May.

Mr. Biden’s leftward drift was also welcomed by John Bachtell, a former chairman of the Communist Party USA. He said Mr. Biden is not taking the far left for granted.

Rossana Cambron, current co-chair of the CPUSA, is actively working to boost Mr. Biden — or, more precisely, to oust Mr. Trump.

“This is a strategic action to remove Trump,” she told People’s World. “The moment calls upon us to look beyond ourselves and do what’s best for all of us. This is why we need a massive voter turnout in November, a victory margin so undeniable it cannot be contested.”

Joe Sims, her fellow CPUSA co-chair, warned followers against approaching this election worried about “lesser evilism.” He said Karl Marx “worked to lend aid” to Abraham Lincoln and the Republican Party over the Confederacy and its president, Jefferson Davis, in order to end slavery.

Mr. Sims said the Democratic Party is “an imperfect vehicle” that at times subverts the labor movement.

“Yet an imperfect vehicle is still a vehicle, and Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and others in the African American, Latino, women’s and labor movements have run effective campaigns through it,” he reasoned.

China, Russia and Iran are among countries seeking to influence the US presidential election this year, a top US intelligence chief has warned.

A statement issued by the director of US counterintelligence said foreign states were using "covert and overt influence measures" to sway the vote.

It said China did not want President Donald Trump's re-election while Russia wanted to hurt Democrat Joe Biden. 

Intelligence chiefs accuse Russia of interfering in the 2016 election. 

They say Russia wanted to help boost Mr Trump's campaign, including by spreading disinformation online. Russia has denied the allegations. 

Asked at a press conference on Friday what he planned to do about the report on election interference, President Trump said his administration would look "very closely" into it.

The announcement comes amid claims by Mr Trump about the dangers of mail-in or postal ballots. He has suggested that the vote be delayed to prevent "the most inaccurate and fraudulent election in history", prompting a backlash even among members of his own party.

damned if we do, damned if we don’t...

It was seventeenth century French Dramatist Pierre Corneille who copyrighted this expression in three-hour long tragedies that are still studied by every child in the French school system. Implying ‘Damned if we do, damned if we don’t,’ it is currently being played out in Trump’s America.

As the November 3rd presidential election draws near, Americans have been warned that this time around both China and Russia, who have an all-encompassing alliance, are ‘interfering’ in their ’democracy’. But as opposition to Trump’s racist agenda grows exponentially, voters are not told why the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, promises a harder attitude toward Russia than Obama. As voters, they are faced with a ‘Cornelian Dilemma’: Trump is destroying the country from within, while Biden would destroy it through war. 

Like all presidents since Clinton, Biden (America’s ‘Uncle Joe’) will follow the official Defense Doctrine known as the Wolfowitz doctrine after its bellicose author, Paul Wolfowitz. Its stated purpose is to ensure that no other country gains the ability to dethrone the US as world hegemon, and it singles out Russia’smineral cornucopia as potentially enabling it to do just that. Several months ago, without referring to ‘Wolfowitz’, which he had been permitted to soften only slightly in his 2017 Defense Doctrine, Trump suggested that the US should purchase Greenland, having leaned that geography blessed that North Atlantic island with mineral assets comparable to those of Russia. In the president’s mind, this wouldobviate the need to bomb Moscow, where he would like to build a tower. However, America’s pundits, having long ago forgotten the Wolfowitz doctrine if they were ever aware of it, dismissed this as just another hare-brained idea, partly because they did not know Trump’s fundamental attitude toward war.

A recent book by a Trump family intimate explains it. Seeing a ‘good deal’ as the height of achievement, Trump considers that service in the military is for ’suckers’ and ‘losers’, as he has been saying on television recently. The concept of patriotism is foreign to him, as illustrated by his attitude toward the former Senator John McCain, who was held captive for five years after his plane was shot down during the Vietnam War. Trump declares for effect that he likes “heroes who weren’t captured”. Now we learn that long before becoming president, he threatened to disinherit Don Jr., if he embraced a military career, unable to understand why people would risk their lives when ‘there’s nothing in it for them’. 

Although Trump burnishes the US military when he wants to threaten another country, warning of its unmatchable capability to inflict death and destruction, he seriously threatens to dismantle NATO if participating countries fail to increase their contributions. Biden’s backers, on the other hand, are heavily invested in the military-industrial complex. Heedless of Eisenhower’s warning, they are convinced that its power to destroy proves that it is equally capable of rebuilding the world (in America’s image, but without the race problem…), 

This dyad confronts American voters with a typical Cornelian choice, between two equally disastrous outcomes. By rejecting Trump, they would avoid a race war at home, but face nuclear war with Russia, backed by China. The evidence for this is that Biden intends to keep NATO’s tanks stationed on Russia’s European border, from the Baltic to the Black Sea, condemning President Putin for calling up defensive forces on his side — as if a national leader’s first responsibility were not to ensure the safety of his citizens!

Biden’s backers are invested in the military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned about, its awesome power to destroy having convinced them that it is equally capable of rebuilding the world (in America’s image, but without the race problem…), while Trump knows that nuclear war would end all deals. He acted upon this conviction by inventing a ‘bone spur’ on a foot to escape peace-time military service, only to accept the backing of white supremacists once he became president. Encouraging his followers to engage in violence against non-white Americans from the safety of the White House, he has probably never fired a weapon, suggesting that on the morning of November 4th he is unlikely to reject defeat by leading his followers onto the South Lawn brandishing a machine gun against Antifa. 

He is more likely to abscond in the dead of night to a friendly country such as Turkey, where the ‘longtime-not-seen’ Rudy Giuliani is probably arranging accommodations befitting the former president of the most powerful country the world had ever seen. My hypothesis has been neither echoed nor challenged, however, neither has a more credible scenario been put forth. This leads me to suggest that instead of wondering what they will do if Trump refuses defeat, the Democrats should be taking suggestions from the public for a new constitution, recognizing that ‘checks and balances’ no longer suffice to ensure the rule of law.
