pax americana .....

pox american .....

The fratboy & his co-conspirators continue to act as provocateurs.

The United States of fascism accuses Iran of arms trafficking in support of Iraqi “insurgents” (who maybe just consider themselves freedom fighters, given the ongoing occupation of their country by bushit, blair & their corporate oil thieves?) & seize three Iranian diplomats. Whilst the US says that “charges” against the Iranians will be made public “soon”, this must be considered doubtful, given the Americans normal propensity to go public immediately with the wildest accusations on the slightest pretext. The Iranian diplomats are no more than hostages & their seizure is a deliberate provocation.

Of course, whilst the psycho in the outhouse claims that Amerikan forces can always act with impunity in advancing his perverted agenda, others are not permitted the same privilege. The US has inserted CIA operatives & Special Forces in Iran, no doubt to try & find proof of Iran’s “weapons of mass destruction programs”, as well as to foment opposition to the democratically elected Iranian government. But, of course, these are our “provocateurs” so that’s OK.

And, of course, bushit has already deployed an aircraft carrier group to the Gulf, allegedly to keep the Sraits of Hormuz open in the event of an escalation of the middle east conflict. And a 2nd carrier group is now in transit, along with Patriot missile defence batteries. If we were Iranians, would we see this as a provocation or would we just accept it as business as usual? How would the Americans react if the Russians or Chinese deployed battle fleets off the coast of their country?

And whilst the US loudly accuses Iran & Syria of giving aid to Hamas & Hezbollah, it quietly goes about arming Habbas & supporting opposition groups in Lebanon. And just as the US tries to interfere in the affairs of Iran, it also interferes in the internal affairs of Syria.

In fact, the US is trying to do what it’s always done: trying to run the planet. The only difference these days is that Bush is an incompetent, so American foreign policy is executed in a crude, clumsy & highly visible fashion, whilst the entire world is awake-up to the phoney, hypocritical yankee rhetoric of “freedom & democracy”.

A pox on Pax Americana.

and George Galloway says …..

same old, same old .....

‘Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) accused the White House of mounting a media blitz to prepare the U.S. public for an eventual attack on Iran. Today The Washington Post reported the Bush administration has authorized the U.S. military to kill or capture Iranian operatives inside Iraq as part of an aggressive new strategy to weaken Tehran's influence across the Middle East.

"The White House is up to its old tricks again: Providing information by anonymous sources and portraying Iran as an aggressor in Iraq," Kucinich said.

"The President is mischaracterizing U.S. action vis-à-vis Iran. In fact, the U.S. is already engaged in offensive and provocative acts against Iran. The President's strategy, by portraying our involvement as only being on the defensive, is laying out the groundwork for him to attack Iran and bypass authorization by Congress," Kucinich said.

The Washington Post article stated:

"A senior intelligence officer was more wary of the ambitions of the strategy. 'This has little to do with Iraq. It's all about pushing Iran's buttons. It is purely political.' The official expressed similar views about other new efforts aimed at Iran, suggesting that the United States is escalating toward an unnecessary conflict to shift attention away from Iraq and to blame Iran for the United States' increasing inability to stanch the violence there."

Kucinich said, "The White House spin machine is at it again: this time providing justification for a new war - a war against Iran." Kucinich pointed out that while the term 'officials' is mentioned 21 times in the Post article - not once are the officials identified by name.’
