an open letter to dear abbott...

carbon capers

Dear idiot in chief...

Unless Labor rescinds on its own work and its promises (which could happen with the right wing of that undemocratic party)  — and becomes completely idiotic like you, you're going to have a hard time to implement YOUR stupid idea to fight global warming — in which you don't believe in...  I know you went to the ballot box with the promises to stop the boat and repeal the carbon tax... First, Tony, you, the new idiot in chief at the head of this fair country, have devised more cruel and more dangerous policies on asylum seekers — those people who have only a very small  tiny impact on this fair country compared to say Lebanon and even Syria... As a devout catholic, I don't know how you can look at yourself in a mirror while shaving... Thus one can deduct you're psychopath on this issue... But leave this aside for a moment...

Would you like to become a REAL super hero?... Easy: KEEP THE CARBON PRICING... I know it may seem like a bit a dithering, but since you have been dithering for a long time — since you entered this world — this would be only another dithering, but one in the RIGHT DIRECTION...

Look, this would save you the headache having to deal with that new over-large CONFLICT-OF-INTEREST Titanic builder that got in by lying better than your mob — by seven votes. And I mean lying by omissions. Basically telling us (not me) but "his electorate" sweet nothings that meant nothing much policy-wise but were quite populist in their whispers... The media of course lapped it up, since the big fella was about to embark on building a replica of himself called the titanic with old dinosaurs on board... Makes good copy, though lousy politics alla pauline, but hey, the dude GOT FAR MORE MONEY THAN YOU HAVE and he wants to get more from you, the fat cad!

Meanwhile if you understood something about global warming, you would keep THE CARBON PRICING which for all its small ills is by far THE BETTER OPTION TO curb our emissions of CO2.

AND WE HAVE TO CURB OUR EMISSIONS... DRASTICALLY.

Thus stop being a little shit idiot who stick to his demented pig-headed rubbish. Become the saviour of the future and protect us from further degradation of the environment including the atmosphere... Have you noticed how thin the bloody thingy is?... KEEP THE CARBON PRICING...!!!!!

Become a HERO  and KEEP the carbon pricing... Reinstate the Clean Energy fund and BINGO you're better than Superman... IMAGINE all the savings you would be making to the bottom line of the budget, instead of trying to implement something expensive that won't work... I think you call this bizo "Your Direct Action" which Malcolm exposed for the fraud it is in 2010...

Anyone who is hell-bent is trying to destroy the carbon pricing is of course an ignoramus idiot. Save yourself the trouble. become like St Paul on the Road to Damascus... See the light! alleluia!!!!

the cagey fat bloke and his lazarus...

The Abbott government could face a $4bn cost and corporate confusion if the new Senate — where Clive Palmer’s senators hold crucial balance of power votes — does not rapidly pass the bills repealing Labor’s carbon pricing scheme as soon as it sits next July.

Palmer said on Wednesday he would not be revealing his stance on the repeal for some time, and repeated his demand that the Coalition refund businesses for the carbon tax they have already paid — something the new prime minister has already said will not be possible.

...

With Labor insisting it will not vote to dismantle its own carbon policy, and the Greens implacably opposed to the idea, the government is banking on either forcing the Labor party to buckle or persuading the new Senate to quickly pass the repeal so the carbon tax can end on 1 July 2014.

The Palmer United party’s policy is to repeal the tax, but as he announced that former rugby league player Glenn (“the brick with eyes”) Lazarus would be his team’s Senate leader, Palmer refused to say whether his senators would vote that way and indicated that he would keep the government guessing for some time.

“We don’t know what the bills say,” Palmer said, despite the eight pieces of legislation having been released on Tuesday.

“We won’t release our policy until we see what the bills say … we don’t want to undermine the current Senate.

One thing that Clive Palmer has is a lot of cash, a lot of hubris, a lot of hide for takings us for mugs, BUT has no idea of how GO-VER-N-MENT works...

LAWS AND TAXES THAT HAVE BEEN ENACTED CANNOT BE RETROSPECTIVELY ACTED UPON... and reimbursed willy-nilly....

I demand a recount on the way Rattus the First swindled the war on Iraq for example... John Howard should be treated like a war criminal, but he won't be... I demand a recreacting of the Whitlam days when he was dismissed for not having "supplies" and two minutes later after his "dismissal" the supplies were passed as is... It was all political and all due to ill-will from the Liberals (Conservatives) who at the time were quite a bit more "honourable" than those in parliament today... That's a lot to say...

Whether or not it's unseemly for Greens politicians to raise the spectre of future cataclysmic climate change when bushfires are still raging out of control, there's no doubt that many of us who looked up to bruised and belligerent skies swirling with ash and a drift of incinerated gum leaves had to wonder, ''is this what the future will be like''?

On Monday this newspaper reported that the next instalment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will say that Australia is particularly vulnerable to more deaths from heat-related stress and bushfires as temperatures continue to rise.
