MEDIA Watch host Paul Barry last night threatened to reveal the salary paid to News Corp columnist Andrew Bolt on Twitter.

It comes a day after Barry revealed his taxpayer funded salary of $191,259 during the broadcast of Media Watch.

Barry made the revelation in the wake of stories last week detailing the earnings of some of the ABC's top television and radio presenters. He challenged Bolt to do the same.

Tony Jones topped the list with $355,789 while Juanita Phillips ($316,454), Leigh Sales ($280,400), Quentin Dempster ($291,505), ABC Radio's top earner Richard Glover ($290,000) and Annabel Crabb ($217,426) among those who had their paypackets revealed to the world.

Bolt is employed by News Corp and his salary is not taxpayer funded.

Last night Barry tweeted "Oh NO! I have Bolt's contract. Is it in the public interest to publish? Perhaps another guessing game to come?"

Soon after Barry bragged he had received 22 replies in two minutes. "Seems the public are interested," he wrote.

"Bolt is employed by News Corp and his salary is not taxpayer funded". SO?... What's the beef about people being paid by the tax payers?... Paul Barry is actually doing a great job at flushing spruiking idiots like Bolt, down the toilet where they belong. Actually these spruikers seems to be permanently living in a toilet bowl so it's not very difficult for anyone to push the button.  

Of course these crappologists — Tim Blair and Andrew Bolt — are mostly wrong on most issues because their masters don't want to know the inconvenient reality. They are interested in nasty bigotry, silly pseudo-science and ultra-right-wing ideology to down-tread some more upon the gullible masses... That's what the spruikers are paid for... Idiotic stuff. Bold and Blair may be charmingly intelligent people at parties (not more than 12 people in Queensland) when they are not working their stupid trade — but let's say they get paid far more than Paul Barry — especially Bolt — to promote MAJOR falsehoods. Paul promotes the best truth possible and this is harder than it looks — he earns every penny of it, while Bolt can talk any old crap and sell as gold... Yes, it would be in the public interest to know how much Bolt is paid to tell porkies, fibs and other silly stuff.
