palpitations...

page three

Rupert Murdoch has taken to Twitter to canvass opinion about dropping 'Page 3' topless shots from his best-selling British tabloid.

Topless women have been a feature of The Sun's Page 3 since 1970, one year after Mr Murdoch acquired the paper.

But now it appears that the press baron could be having second thoughts about a feature which has regularly drawn the anger of feminists and other commentators.

"Brit feminists bang on forever about page 3. I bet never buy paper I think old fashioned but readers seem to disagree," he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.

"Page 3 again. Aren't beautiful young women more attractive in at least some fashionable clothes? Your opinions please."

Gus is prepared to believe that Uncle Rupe's heart is slowly giving up and seeing naked women gives him palpitations which he's mistaking for being on the way to a heart attack...

I could have been wrong...

Above I say: Gus is prepared to believe that Uncle Rupe's heart is slowly giving up and seeing naked women gives him palpitations which he's mistaking for being on the way to a heart attack...

Well, anyone would guess I was wrong.... I had a hard analysis of the situation since and I now believe (which of course was my first intuitive moment) that Uncle Rupe WANTS TO ATTRACT ATTENTION to the fact his paper still has naked woman with tits on page 3.... Meaning that old and younger men should buy his trash...

Of course.
