getting tedious...

vindictive...

The present attack on Trump by the Democrats clearly shows they are vindictive bastards...

Okay, the guy won the US presidential elections and we don't like him... So what. The Russians had nothing to do with your demise. If they had, this would show you're more stupid than you look. Just let off, attack the guy in the Congress with political tools showing you're honest and believe in the constitution. At the moment the Democrats are only showing they're kids who have lost their lollies by being cocky and blame the school bully even if he was not there...

the idiots are armed and in command...

General Sir Adrian Bradshaw, a citizen of the UK, has alleged that an “international disinformation campaign” through websites such as Sputnik News and Russia Today could also be included in NATO’s definition of an “attack.”

According to the NATO treaty, “an armed attack against one or more [members] shall be considered an attack against them all,” and allies may use any action necessary for defense. In recent years, this has been expanded to include cyberattacks and hacking.

“It is a political decision, but it is not out of the question that aggression, blatant aggression, in a domain other than conventional warfare might be deemed to be Article Five,” Bradshaw told The Times. Article Five deems an attack on one member state to be “an attack on all.” He further declared that this would go into effect, “when it’s declared to be.”

russian doughnuts...

US President Donald Trump has labelled his Democrat opponents "hypocrites" after they called for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign over his contacts with Russia.

Trump on Friday tweeted a photograph of Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer eating doughnuts with Russian President Vladmir Putin.

"We should start an immediate investigation into @SenSchumer and his ties to Russia and Putin. A total hypocrite!" Trump wrote.

A second Trump tweet showed House minority leader Nancy Pelosi at a large table across from top Russian officials, and called for her to be investigated, too.

On Thursday, Schumer and Pelosi led calls by opposition Democrats in Congress for the resignation of Sessions, who during confirmation hearings in January failed to disclose 2016 meetings with the Russian ambassador to Washington, Sergey Kislyak.

Responding to Trump, Schumer pointed out that the 2003 meeting at a Russian-owned Lukoil gas station in Long Island, New York, was "in full view of press & public".

The New York senator said he would "happily talk" under oath and asked if "you & your team" would do likewise.

The Schumer photo had circulated on pro-Trump websites before being tweeted by the president.

training agitators to protest Trump's policies...

Earlier this month, New York Post contributor Paul Sperry wrote that an "Obama-tied activist group" was spotted training agitators to protest Trump's policies.

"He's doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action [OFA]… Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency," Sperry wrote, adding that OFA was founded by Obama and "featured prominently on his new post-presidency website."

The journalist recalled that just ten days after leaving office Obama had endorsed protests over Trump's executive order on immigration.

Indeed, on January 30, Kevin Lewis, spokesman for former President Obama issued an official statement which said that ex-president "Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country."

According to Sperry, OFA was also distributing a training manual to anti-Trump activists "that advises them to bully GOP lawmakers into backing off support for repealing ObamaCare."

Sperry also referred to FOA's Facebook post titled, "Take a deep breath. Then take action."

"Every week, it seems like the current administration and Congress are just going through a list of issues progressive organizers care most about and dedicating their efforts to rolling back our hard-won progress," the statement said calling upon US citizens to "work for progress" and "take action."

For its part, Breitbart News opined that FOA was cooperating with the so-called Indivisible group.

Previously, Politico.com reported that the Indivisible was launched by former Democratic aides "to channel their post-election heartbreak into a manual for quashing President Donald Trump's agenda." The group even drafted a 26-page protest guide for activists.

It's possible... I've seen similar "agitators being trained" in Europe in the sixties...

poking the bear...

Anti-Russian sentiment is rising, from Washington to Brussels, and Tony Kevin says we have become prisoners of our own propaganda about Russia.

He argues we have to understand the trauma that Russians have endured since the collapse of the Soviet Union if we want to resolve the new Cold War.

Tony Kevin joins Sunday Extra to talk about his new book, 'Return to Moscow'.

sex and the city diplomacy...

Sarah Jessica Parker received an astonishing proposal from Russian diplomacy after relaying a clip of her character lamenting that the Russian ambassador to Washington, having met several US officials, is losing interest in her.

"I can not help wondering ... did the Russian ambassador meet everybody except me?", Reads a meme repeating the fetish phrase of the character of the American series Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw, a romantic journalist in search of great love, sitting alone in front of her computer — on someone's Instagram.

The phrase interested the actress who incarnates the character, Sarah Jessica Parker, so much that she shared it on her own Instagram account on March 2, with the comment: "I had to it. I do not know the provenance but whoever you are, thank you."

The humorous publication evoked the recent controversy over US Justice Minister Jeff Sessions, which some criticize for not mentioning his contacts with Russian ambassador Sergei Ivanovich Kislyak during the election campaign of President Donald Trump.

The next evening, the American actress received a reply, not from the diplomat, but from ... the spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"I can tell you that if Sarah Jessica Parker wants to talk with the Russian ambassador to the United States, everything is possible, Sergei Ivanovitch will be delighted," she said in a message posted back on her Facebook account.

absolute rule cannot tolerate challenge...

If the 2016 presidential campaign was a national disgrace, the reaction of the losers is an even more disgraceful spectacle.  It seems that the political machine backing Hillary Clinton can’t stand losing an election.

And why is that?

Because they are determined to impose “exceptional” America’s hegemony on the entire world, using military-backed regime changes, and Donald Trump seems poised to spoil their plans.  The entire Western establishment, roughly composed of neoconservative ideologues, liberal interventionists, financial powers, NATO, mainstream media and politicians in both the United States and Western Europe, committed to remaking the Middle East to suit Israel and Saudi Arabia and to shattering impertinent Russia, have been thrown into an hysterical panic at the prospect of their joint globalization project being sabotaged by in ignorant intruder.

Donald Trump’s expressed desire to improve relations with Russia throws a monkey wrench into the plans endorsed by Hillary Clinton to “make Russia pay” for its bad attitude in the Middle East and elsewhere. If he should do what he has promised, this could be a serious blow to the aggressive NATO buildup on Russia’s European borders, not to mention serious losses to the U.S. arms industry planning to sell billions of dollars worth of superfluous weapons to NATO allies on the pretext of the “Russian threat”.

The war party’s fears may be exaggerated, inasmuch as Trump’s appointments indicate that the United States’ claim to be the “exceptional”, indispensable nation will probably survive the changes in top personnel.  But the emphasis may be different. And those accustomed to absolute rule cannot tolerate the challenge

how trump is creating new jobs...

While campaigning to be president of the United States, Donald Trump promised to create jobs. But this is probably not what he had in mind.

Liberal New Yorkers are making bank selling anti-Trump merchandise at protests. And they’re suddenly not as upset over Hillary’s Clinton’s loss.

“I voted for Hillary, but I’m almost happy that Trump won,” said Manhattanite Paul Rossen, 55, “It’s given me a new economic opportunity.”

sore, sulking, brooding, scowling, grumpy, gloomed...

Nixon ran a good campaign in 1960, against John F Kennedy, a candidate who, primarily because of his good looks and young family, became a darling of the media and celebrity class.

The 1960 race was one of the tightest. Kennedy won 34,226,731 votes and Nixon 34,108,157. Kennedy won 303 electoral college votes to Nixon’s 219. There was evidence of voting fraud in Illinois where Kennedy money and connections to Mayor Richard Daley are alleged to have swung that important state.

Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Lyndon Johnson had orchestrated rampant black arts in his home state of Texas. Yet for all this Nixon kept quiet, conceded gracefully and came back to win again in 1968.

Perhaps it is the fact that she will never get to run again but Hillary Clinton simply cannot accept defeat to Donald Trump. It is one of the most unappealing characteristics that can be found in a politician, the inability to accept defeat. She would be best advised to keep quiet from here on in. But one of the many reasons that she lost the US Presidential election of 2016 is that she will not, cannot listen to advise.

Another reason she lost was that she was a very bad candidate. And she had many other unappealing characteristics that contributed. But now, in blaming everybody and everything else for her defeat she is displaying the primary reason the American people decided she should not be president – she will not accept responsibility for her actions. In short, she does not display leadership.

Mrs. Clinton gave her first major interview since her November defeat at an event for the global charity Women for Women International on Tuesday. When asked by interviewer Christiane Amanpour of CNN whether she accepted responsibility for the defeat she said, unconvincingly, "absolutely." She then went on to blame the FBI, Russia, sexism and even the date of the election for her defeat.

See toon at top...

she had no message...

When I wrote about Mondale, I felt sorry for the guy. I liked him. He’s smart and has a refreshing sense of humor. Whatever my feelings for him were, the camera did not agree. It showed a cold and somewhat distant Midwestern archetype. The same with Clinton. I’ve had a few private moments with her and found her to be — as her aides will always tell you — fresh, irreverent and funny. She gets the joke. Alas, on TV none of that came through, as if she was hiding from the camera lest it reveal too much.

Clinton’s search for a message occupies much of “Shattered.” It is a sad trek because she was an oxymoron: a familiar figure who was seeking to appear fresh and, as she herself acknowledged, a politician with no gift for politics. “I know that I engender bad reactions from people, and I always have,” Allen and Parnes quote her as telling an aide. “There are some people in whom I bring out the worst. I know that about myself, and I don’t know why that is. But it is.”

In the end, Clinton had it right. She was stuck with herself. It was good enough for most voters, but not for enough of them in those three key states. She lost, and a fool won. That, to us, ought to be the message.
