WHEN Putin “invaded” Ukraine, He would have analysed the risks of what it meant. According to John Mearsheimer Putin did not have any choice. On the other side of the “equation”, NATO was pushing the odds possibly in a way to force Russia into doing a “wrong” move. 

Recently, Craig Murray also acknowledged, reticently, that Putin “did not have a choice” so to speak.

So what have been the odds of the conflict between Russia and America? Why is Macron pushing for NATO boots in Ukraine? What would be the consequences? Why do the other European countries dismiss Macron’s demand? 

So what are the chess pieces on the board?

Whoever makes the first move usually wins… But this is a game where the best intellectual minds are in Russia and the west is full of hubris, secrecy, deviousness, deceit, senility and bravado…

 

Zelensky recently admitted that there were plenty of Russian spies in Ukraine… Of course. In a country where the population was (I say was because most of the Russians are now in the “new” old Russian territories) more than 35 per cent Russian, Ukraine starts from bad odds on this aspect. In Galicia (Western Ukraine) there are still up to 10 per cent Russians in the population. This is why Zelensky decreed and decreed more and more fascist dictums — including banning Russian books and raiding the main Orthodox Church which was affiliated with the Russian Orthodox. As well, Zelensky banned all opposition parties and delayed elections — because there is a good chance he would lose. The Western media hardly mention all of this.

 

But the conflict as we have mentioned many times is anchored in the desire of the USA to destroy Russia since 1917 — something that Putin knows but cannot mention, due to the risk of being taken for a raving loony.

 

By early 2022, Putin would have had to know that the Kiev armed forces were going to attack the Donbass, considering a large increase in the bombardment of this region by Ukraine.

Putin had held up as long as he could to the illusion that the Minsk agreements protecting these autonomous regions would prevail.

But he had had to prepare for the worse. He positioned the Russian troops ready to counteract.

 

Ukraine, under the command of NATO, had amassed 60,000 troops about to invade the Donbass, including Crimea. In the Donbass, the “Resistance” was limited to a few diehard and some Russian troops that would not have been able to stop the Ukrainian Army, now WELL-armed by NATO since the Maidan Coup, unlike in 2014, when the Donbass claimed autonomy for disliking the Kiev Nazi regime.

 

Without Russian intervention, NATO would have gained what it wanted: Ukraine becoming part of NATO and NATO troops on the border with Russia — AND POSSIBLY 100,000 DEAD RUSSIANS in the Donbass. Putin COULD NOT ALLOW THIS, as he already mentioned since 2008 to the West: NO NATO IN UKRAINE AND GEORGIA. Full stop.

For Putin, the situation is several fold: Defend — of course. From which position? From the Russian Border? As a former KGB agent, “in charge of Western news clippings” Putin is well aware of TRENDS and of Western propaganda.

Defending from behind the border would have also led to about 100,000 Russian troops KIA — even if more Ukrainian soldiers died. At this stage, America was prepared to use Ukraine as a proxy to fight Russia — and did no care much about Ukraine losses as long as this would weaken Russia. Weakening Russia was the official American Mantra (White House and Pentagon said so).

 

Always playing by the UN rules, not the rules based order of the Americans, Putin declared the two breakaway provinces as independent new countries — like the Americans sometimes do.

From this position he sent Russian troops to defend the new Donbass borders. At the same time, other Russian troops “invaded Ukraine to very close from Kiev, in order to enforce a deal…

 

The deal was nearly signed until Boris Johnson intervened.

We know the rest. The game was rigged.

 

Putin did not want. to “crush” Ukraine. He wanted Ukraine to remain neutral and afford autonomy to the Donbass region, while eliminating the Nazi sentiment in the Ukrainian government.

 

So the West pushed Putin’s hand in his gamble.

What were the risks?

 

In order to win over an opponent, one needs nor only to have the desire, but have the strength and skills to beat this opponent. Such strength at geopolitical level has many levels.

 

NATO is a fascist organisation designed by the “globalist” USA to control the world. Unfortunately, against such an outfit, one needs to develop a counter-authoritarian similar attitude in order to limit “infiltration” and prevent “under the belt moves” by such entity. One cannot be too nice or sweetly idealistic, unless one is Jesus Christ and offer the other cheek… This does not work against vicious guys like NATO. They would kick you in the head and punch you in the gonads — or in the other order.

 

The propaganda war was lost for Russia way before the “invasion”. Russia has been demonised since 1917 and Putin since 2000. As we know the American propaganda is powerful — underwritten by Hollywood and its movies about glorious Americans fighters and “Top Guns” — and by the Pentagon through the CIA and its shop fronts (“I’m here to help” NGOs, including USAID, often promoting highway robbery). 

 

During WW2, the allies helped Russia a little bit, BECAUSE WITHOUT RUSSIA, THE WEST WOULD HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DEFEAT GERMANY. This was the state of the game then. 

 

Meanwhile, As President Putin was chastised by an international court for saving around 8,000 kids and taking them away from Ukraine’s battlefields, Netanyahu still manage to avoid condemnation by the West for murdering more than 12,000 children in Gaza and also being remonstrated by the courts. 

MASSIVE AMERICAN propaganda by falsehood, propaganda by omission and other forms of official lies are difficult to counteract, when most of the foghorn channels are biased in favour of the Americans. The referees are bought out. Putin knows this. 

But patience is an extra gift to those who have more skills, more discipline and more reserves in stock. 

 

Once the peace deal of March/April 2022 was scuttled by Boris, the only main option for Putin has been to win the Military Operation in Ukraine. And HE IS WINNING….

 

NATO is doing all it can to load the dice in favour of the Ukrainians, but it CANNOT enter the ring without all hell breaking loose. Should NATO bring ground-troops in Ukraine (which NATO does in small groups of mercenaries, advisors and operators of complex armaments such as Patriot rocket launchers), it would be a declaration of war. Russia has set the limits to the poker game that should this happen, then Paris, London, Berlin and Washington would vanish under atomic clouds… THIS IS the main PART OF THE GAMBLE.

This is why the West is now panicking — trying to bring macron to earth, from his Napoleonic dreams to send troops to Ukraine. 

 

The risks are way beyond the stakes…

 

Peace might be easier by making a deal sooner than later….

Russia has become a menace to France in view of its actions since the onset of the Ukraine conflict, French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal told the Senate on Wednesday, defending President Emmanuel Macron’s earlier suggestion of potentially sending Western troops to Ukraine.

Macron’s words came after a meeting of Ukraine’s sponsors in Paris on Monday. No consensus was reached on the prospect of sending ground troops to aid Kiev, he told the press. However, the French president promised to stop at nothing to make sure Russia does not win in Ukraine.

Responding to questions in the French Senate about the remarks, Attal insisted that Russia has hardened its stance towards France over the course of the conflict. He accused Moscow of “spreading false information,” while engaging in attempts at destabilization and “cyber attacks.”

He insisted that the French leader’s statements were “responsible,” and echoed Macron’s view on the need to ramp up military aid to Ukraine, explaining that he may have been speaking of troops being sent to train Kiev’s army, rather than to fight. Attal suggested that such a deployment may include training Ukrainian troops in ground-to-air defense, or protecting “certain borders.”

Earlier in February, Paris and Kiev signed a bilateral security pact, similar to Ukraine's agreements with Germany and the UK. While the deal offered no ironclad military obligations, Macron promised Kiev another €3 billion ($3.25 billion) in aid over the course of 2024 as well as “cooperation” in artillery production.

The month prior, Macron announced that France would provide Ukraine with 40 additional SCALP-EG long-range cruise missiles and “hundreds of bombs.” The missiles – a combined British-French endeavor, called “Storm Shadow” by the British – have been used to target and kill Russian civilians in long-range strikes on the Donbass, according to Moscow.

Russia maintains that the flow of Western military aid to Ukraine will not alter the course of the conflict, simply putting off the end while causing unnecessary deaths.

The next risk assessment would have been about SANCTIONS…. Sanctions are punitive actions by the American hegemony against competitors, using a “moral” component, like being penalised by the Christian Church for having committed a sin… This is complete bullshit of course, but someone like Putin would have to consider countermeasures… This would involve some counter bets against the hegemony of the USA. Creating a multipolar world is part of this. 

 

But one has to wonder if the sanctions against Russia were not designed to sink Europe. For example the destruction of the Nord Sea pipelines was part of this. Russia to some extend had found other markets ready to take the gas. Europe was not ready to pay four times the price for American shale gas which is also highly destructive of the environment — and conducive to (god bless Joe Biden) global warming.

 

So Putin has had a great head banker to counteract the sanctions — and Russia’s economy is booming better than that of the West.

”The West, which has colonial habits and is used to igniting national conflicts all over the world, has intentions that go beyond stalling our development,”the Russian leader told the Federal Assembly, a gathering of leading Russian officials and public figures.

”In place of Russia, they want a dependent, withering, dying space, where they can do whatever they want,” he added.

The Russian people and its national unity in the face of foreign threats is what protects the nation, according to Putin. Meanwhile, the government has the job of protecting institutions at the foundation of national sovereignty.

”We will not allow anyone to interfere in our domestic affairs,” the president vowed.

Moscow has accused the US and its allies of waging a proxy war on Russia, in which the Ukraine conflict is but one element. Western elites, according to the Russian leadership, cannot accept that a new multipolar world is emerging, in which multiple sovereign power centers will decide the fate of humanity. The West is seeking to contain rising powers, including Russia, by all means at its disposal, from economic restrictions to outright use of military force, according to the Kremlin.

Putin has previously argued that his country was left with “no other choice” but to take action against Ukraine as a result of Kiev’s persecution and violence against ethnic Russian citizens. Meanwhile, NATO members have obstructed Moscow’s calls to resolve their differences over European security. The US-led military bloc has continued to expand towards Russian borders, ignoring its objections, Putin said.
