angry?

potato head...

Australian rock legend Angry Anderson has fronted the final Liberal party election advertisement in NSW before the media blackout begins at midnight on Wednesday.

In the television ad, Gary `Angry' Anderson takes aim at Prime Minister Julia Gillard's promise for a Parramatta-to-Epping rail line in western Sydney, saying it will never happen.

"I don't like being lied to, and I don't like the feeling of being conned," the rocker says in the ad.

"If they were really going to fix the rail link between Parramatta and Epping they would have done it by now."

-------------------------

Hello??? Anyone there in that small potato head??? The Epping to Parramatta railway line has been promised by the NSW Labor government for about 14 years... Nothing new... Er... Yes.. There's something new: Julia Gillard from the FEDERAL government wants to get that railway going and is offering the money — which the previous federal government of Rattus made sure NSW would never have (read history books) — to build the Eff&&$@ bloody line... The NSW government has already planned the engineering and the route and WANTS TO GO AHEAD with it but does not have the money which private investors would not fork out — unless it's the line to the airport for which we have to pay HUUUUUUGE exhorbitant prices for a short run... You lost the plot ANGRY... you want angry??? I'm bloody MAAAAAAD you dared appeared for Tony!!!! Phoney Tony!!!! Sold your soul????? What did he promise you???? Angry, A rock legend? A solid rock legend like Tony's rock solid promises on medicare???????????? CRAP! Get a life.

Assertively Agitated anderson...

Here, Anderson ponders the obvious questions: are the Nationals a broad enough church to ''get'' Angry, nee and possibly soon-again-to-be Gary, Anderson? He's tickled, incidentally, by Nationals Senate leader Barnaby Joyce's recent tweet: ''Tried to get Angry to change his name to Assertively Agitated Angry but no luck, so here comes Angry.''

But even if he opts to keep the Angry moniker, can Anderson be himself if he's preselected for a Nationals seat to contest the next federal election? Or, might he find himself like another Aussie agitprop rocker, Peter Garrett - arguably forced by Labor to sell policies with which he doesn't agree (uranium mining) and taking the rap when things (the 2010 pink-batt insulation fiasco) go wrong?

''We'll find out,'' Anderson says.
